Well, belated at least. The year 2012 has come to an end, and I personally have already welcomed 2013 as a tough one. Year of the snake, is it not? Not that I know if that should be related to anything I just said. But moving on, I'm actually writing this blog because when I looked back on my year 2012, I realized that it probably should be one of the most memorable and life-changing years of my life. From great milestones in my 'career' if I can call it that, up to big steps in my personal growth that I probably won't be discussing here because I'm still a little secretive, I can say that 2012 was full of surprises in the form of opportunities that I could have not taken, but did.

I am personally very thankful that I've been so blessed. Though contrary to what some may think, there were downs during that great year of 2012 as well. It just so happens that in spite of conferences I wasn't able to go to, awards I did not yet receive or internships I wasn't able to get, I chose to make the best out of the opportunities that presented itself to me. I took risks that only now can I say are worth taking. I remember at some point back then that there had seemed to be so much to lose with whatever I wanted to immerse myself into. And yes, it's part of it, and I accepted it. There were loses that I'm sure I'll never gain back, but to tell you the truth, I don't regret having lost whatever it was that was already there then. Let's just say that I've got keys, and I'm sure a lot of us have them, and it's just up to us to use them to find the next door that will open for us.

Anyway, I might be rambling. I'm having quite a funny night, and I'll just end this blog, only to promise you that I'll be updating again soon enough. Forward to 2013!
